“The Cindy Laverty Show” debuts nationally Friday, May 13 on CRN’s Digital Talk Radio
LOS ANGELES – Media personality, author, motivational speaker, senior-care commentator and nationally-recognized caregiver expert Cindy Laverty debuts her new weekly radio talk show “The Cindy Laverty Show” on CRN’s Digital Talk Radio (www.CRNTalk.com) on Friday, May 13. Program will air live every Friday from 10-11 a.m. PST and stream live on the internet. Encore broadcasts are scheduled for Saturday on CRN 4 from 2-3 pm PST and Sunday on CRN 1 from 8-9 am PST. Show will also be broadcast on WLTH AM 1370 Chicago.
“The Cindy Laverty Show,” debuted in 2009 and spotlights the topic of care – how we care for ourselves so we can better care for each other. Each week, Cindy interviews nationally and internationally recognized accomplished guests with the constant focus on CARE. The engaging conversation leaves her listeners with new and profound concepts to ponder.

For the past two and a half years, Laverty’s popular program has aired on KZSB AM 1290 in Santa Barbara.
After many years of caring for her ill and aging former father-in-law, Laverty discovered her life calling to be in the field of compassionate home care. Armed with answers to hundreds of questions from her experiences of working in the trenches, Laverty decided to turn it all into a comprehensive book — a roadmap for Baby Boomers – titled “CAREGIVING: Eldercare Made Clear & Simple.” Her new book is a unique guide that provides simple, harmonious solutions. It’s about managing the unmanageable and making things easier for families, loved ones and friends. It has led her to become a recognized expert on the subject.
Laverty’s mission is to create a nation of empowered caregivers — people who are knowledgeable, savvy, confident, strong, compassionate and healthy. “I intend to empower people who seek to care for their loved ones, while maintaining the balance in their own lives; as well as accept the responsibility of caregiving . . . and seize the opportunity when it comes their way,” Laverty said.
